Entrance Canopies

This primary school maximised usage of their entrance courtyard. They commissioned Shelter Solutions to design and build an entrance canopy which would also act as a parent waiting shelter, giving weather protection for parents meeting their children from school. Their requirement was for a 5m x 5m Dome entrance canopy which was light and airy yet gave full protection from the torrential rain showers which have become a regular occurrence due to climate change

Shelter Solutions built this neat entrance Porch style entrance canopy to protect an exposed access door. Workers within the factory building had a tendency to leave the main door open to aid ventilation, which led to an ingress of rain and site debris. The Porch Shelter was a welcome addition and also acts a useful covered smoking area.
